Introduction: We are currently seeking for a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor (m/f/d) for the business Hotel Eurostars Berlin. Situated on Friedrichstrasse, the main shopping street in Berlin's city center.
This is a full-time, on-site role. The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas meet our established standards, collaborating with the Housekeeping Manager and other departments to achieve common goals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are assigned and completed efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Provide training and guidance to housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities and achieve common goals.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment inventory.
- Address and rectify any deficiencies or issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inspections, and staff performance.
- Interact with guests to address immediate concerns related to cleanliness.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated success in managing a team and driving results
- Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with other departments and resolving guest complaints.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. This can be also substituted with 3+ years of experience in similar role.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
