Account Consultant Property Austria & CSEE (m/w/d) Permanent position (38,5 hours/week), full time, Vienna Office The way in which we approach risks is unique in our industry. As an Account Consultant you will work closely with the Property & Energy Underwriters to manage the risk consulting at an account management level. You will support the Underwriters on risk selection, conduct desktop reviews of surveys completed by the Field Engineering team and external providers, educate on awareness of risks and complete annual account stewardship reviews. DISCOVER your opportunity Your responsibilities: * Manage the relationship with clients - unbundled or lead accounts - and be the main contact point for them * Be responsible for risk improvement by clients through proactive recommendation monitoring * In charge of the contract life cycle for a client (budget, contracts, offers, meetings, stewardship meetings, etc.) * Develop and monitor Service Level Agreements with clients for their accounts to ensure quality of services * Responsible for the profitability of client accounts * Work closely with local Underwriters, Claims and Sales teams (CDL's) to secure business thorough assessment of new/renewed clients * Collaborate with all Risk Consulting Lines of Business (LoBs) * Work a minimum of 80% of time on Account Engineering tasks and up to a maximum of 20 % of time on surveys * Approximately 20% travel during site-based assignments * Objectives and performance assigned/evaluated by Regional/Country Manager or Account Consultants team managers for large LoB's. You will be provided with autonomy, empowerment, training and guidance where needed and appropriate to your level of experience: * Completed engineering or science-oriented degree, (MS, BS, Dipl.-Ing.) * Previous experience of working in risk consulting is essential, preferably within Insurance * Experience of assessing property risk and risk surveys in connection with advising an underwriting unit is highly beneficial * Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, efficient and able to work independently by structuring the path forward * Well-spoken and a communicative, confident and discrete manner towards clients and business partners * Strong presentation skills catering to various markets and client types * Motivated and solution-oriented personality that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and high energy environment * Linguistic proficiency in English and German, French language skills desirable * Proficient in standard MS Office tools * High level of resilience and commitment * Driven to work in an international, diverse team.
